The Taiwan Integrated Geriatric (TIGER) program is a government-backed and academia-led initiative that provides holistic senior care. Services include but are not limited to: cognitive therapy, nutritional advice, chronic condition management, social activities and more. We developed a visual identity that helped humanize the program’s cause.
The visual identity was inspired by the program’s values that make the TIGER acronym: Training, Intelligence, Gathering, Enjoyment, and Rejuvenation. The logo consists of the word TIGER written in a font with soft organic lines. The “G” at the center emulates both a heart and an ampersand (&) to represent the program’s community-first and human-centric approach to healthcare. The warm color palette has Daisy Yellow as the dominant color, which historically represents optimism, nourishment, and new beginnings. Yellow is additionally a symbolic color for the elderly, as it is not only comfortable for the eyes, but as people age, their perception of colors change to yellowish tones.
We ensured every detail was thoughtfully designed to reflect the program’s gentler approach to healthcare. This is essential as TIGER expands and collaborates with future partners, not limited to businesses and civil society.
